Tarvier presents a collection of 9ct rose gold and 18ct rose gold wedding rings.
Our range of rose gold wedding rings are offered in a broad selection of sizes, widths, and weights.
Rose gold is a blend of yellow gold and copper. It is also known as pink gold or red gold. Copper is added to change the base gold colour of yellow to a pink blush rose gold. Copper alloy also adds strength due to its hardness which makes rose gold rings the most scratch resistant of the three gold colour options. This blushing shade of gold should not be overlooked when choosing a ring for life.
Twice as much gold exists in an 18ct rose gold than in 9ct rose gold. 18ct rose gold has a purity measure of 75% whilst 9ct rose gold has a purity measure of 37.5%. The 18ct rose gold ring will be warmer and richer in colour than a 9ct rose gold ring. In addition, the 18ct gold ring will be more resilient to oxidisation, surface marking and harder than a 9ct gold ring. It is important to note that engraving and surface detailing is better fashioned using 9ct gold.
All our rose 9ct and 18ct gold wedding rings are assayed by either London or Birmingham assay offices with a set of UK hallmarks.
