Substantial and striking beautifully made coffee pot, of bulbous form. This coffee pot is plain in detail to the body without decoration, monograms or crests. The base foot is of splayed pedestal form with beaded perimeter. The coffee pot rim replicates the beaded detail with is circular lid and raised center, capped with a beaded perimeter finial. Swan necked handle with circular ferrules connecting the handle to the body, the coffee pot spout having ornate scalloped detailing to body connection. The silver coffee pot is assayed to the inside of the lid and base of body.
The gauge of this silver coffee pot is excellent with proportions perfectly designed and crafted. This antique sterling silver coffee pot is in superb condition, free from deep scratches and dents with fine surface marks representative of age. The lid is without play, the hinge in good condition, and the handle tight in ferrules with pins secure, the coffee pot sits flat and level. All assay marks clear and crisp with a full set of marks assayed to both inside lid and base.
